People is most important element of privacy framework. Ensuring people understand the privacy practice and their roles/responsibilities in the privacy program is the most critical factor in the success of privacy management framework.
All staff members, volunteers and anyone else who access personal information and/or personal health information must be provided with adequate awareness and training. Supporting process also must be in place to provide on-going consistent privacy support to help relevant people understand and execute the privacy practice.
