Privacy Policies and Procedures

Privacy policies and procedures define the specifications for privacy management according to the strategy, directions and decisions from the Privacy Governance. The privacy officer is responsible for development, maintenance and enforcement of the privacy policies and procedures.

Privacy policies provides organizational direction on privacy practices that supports the privacy objectives and directions determined by the Privacy Governance.

Privacy procedures provide guidance on privacy management and operations and specify the activities and workflow to manage specific privacy issues. Privacy procedures are developed to support or enforce the privacy policies.
